SUMMER READING at the HONEOYE PUBLIC LIBRARY  

WHEN:  Saturday, June 23  – Saturday, August 11, 2007  

WHO:  Pre-school (4 years) through Young Adult

Here’s what you do...  

1.      REGISTER at the library on Saturday, June 23 between 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.
                         to  join our Get a Clue @ Your Library!  summer  reading  program.
                         When you register you will receive a  Reading Log  where you will list       
                         the amount of time that you spend reading, being read to OR reading to
                         someone else this summer.  ALL of your reading and listening time
                         counts so be sure to mark it down!                         

2.      BRING your READING LOG to the library when you return your books and
                    stop by the desk and let us know how much time you have …
                   15 minutes read = 1 sticker.  

3.      VISIT the library!!!  Every time you come in you will have a chance to place your
                 name in the drawing for free books at the end of the program.  The more you
                 visit the more chances you’ll have to win a prize!!!  

4.  CHECK out the SUMMER READING TABLE for fun things to do and READ!!!                   

5.      GET A CLUE @ YOUR LIBRARY  - Our  summer party will be on Saturday,
                     August 11, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. for members of our SUMMER READING                                                              PROGRAM.....sign up will be in July.....book prizes will be awarded!!  

   ***This is an independent READING PROGRAM designed to encourage young
                         people to read during the summer months.***

            Tuesday 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.         Saturday    10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
